Kristyn to spoke to Andrew Ramonas, the Corporate Disclosure Reporter for Bloomberg, about the landmark challenge to the NASDAQ Diversity Rule pending before a federal court of appeals. As an advocate of diversity on boards and an attorney, she spoke on the importance of advancing representation and director diversity.NASDAQ promulgated a disclosure rule for its listed companies, which contrasts with the California mandates that were judicially overturned. As reported, Kristyn stated that approach “may prove more palatable to the court” and that “the social and corporate value of the rule certainly weigh in its favor.”

This report provides evidence of the impact that safe, enriching, and high-quality after-school opportunities can have on children and youth, so as to motivate parent leaders, communities, employers, local governments, schools, and churches to develop or expand their after-school programs.This report was co-authored by Kristyn, then a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of Justice, along with other colleagues at DOJ and the U.S. Department of Education. It was featured during a Rose Garden ceremony along with the passage of No Child Left Behind and it has been subsequently reprinted and quoted as a resource guide.
